Terms for using Uthana AI services.
Last updated January 2026. These terms govern access to the Uthana AI Inc. website, demo process, and AI front desk services.
Service
Uthana provides AI front desk software that can answer calls, respond to approved business questions, collect caller details, create or update appointments, send confirmations, summarize calls, and notify staff according to configured rules.
Customer responsibilities
- Provide accurate business hours, services, pricing guidance, booking rules, transfer rules, and staff contact details.
- Review AI call flows before launch and update rules when policies change.
- Maintain required permissions for calendars, booking systems, phone numbers, and notification channels.
- Use the service in compliance with laws that apply to the customer's industry and callers.
AI limitations
AI systems can misunderstand callers, produce incomplete answers, or fail to handle unusual requests. Uthana is designed to use approved business knowledge and escalation rules, but customers remain responsible for reviewing the workflows they enable and deciding where human review is required.
Scheduling actions
When connected to a booking or calendar system, Uthana may create, change, or cancel appointments according to the customer's configured rules. Customers are responsible for verifying that connected calendars, staff availability, service durations, and cancellation policies are accurate.
Acceptable use
Customers may not use Uthana to send unlawful communications, mislead callers, collect information without proper authority, violate platform terms, interfere with service operation, reverse engineer the service, or process data they are not permitted to process.
Fees and cancellation
Paid plans are billed according to the selected plan, call volume, integrations, and any agreed setup work. Customers can request plan changes or cancellation through support. Amounts already incurred may remain payable unless a written agreement states otherwise.
Intellectual property
Uthana retains ownership of its software, workflows, designs, documentation, and service technology. Customers retain ownership of their business content, caller data, and configuration details, subject to the rights needed for Uthana to provide the service.
Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided as available and may depend on third-party phone, AI, hosting, messaging, payment, and scheduling providers. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Uthana disclaims implied warranties and limits liability for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages.
